Absolent Air Care Group has appointed a brand-new country manager to support sales of all group brands, including Filtermist, in China.

Hansen Xu has extensive previous experience from senior positions in companies including Kennametal and LMT Group in China and has spent the last 25 years building sales and channel strategies within the machine tool industry.

Absolent Air Care Group’s Regional President APAC, Andreas Johansson, comments, “Hansen’s appointment is designed to help us to increase sales of all of our products throughout China. Our brands have been bought by Chinese customers for more than 25 years – originally through distributors and then directly with the formation of Absolent Beijing Ltd in 2011 and Filtermist (Shanghai) Ltd in 2017.

“The scale of China’s manufacturing industry means it is a very important market for Absolent Air Care Group – especially given the importance placed on air quality by The Government of the People's Republic of China. Both Absolent and Filtermist products ensure that the air in production facilities is clean and safe to breathe, but they also offer many other benefits including increased productivity, lower costs and consistent component quality.
