Filtermist Limited CEO, James Stansfield, is one of the longest serving employees at the company having officially reached his 25-year anniversary! 

James first joined Filtermist back in 1998 as a Sales Coordinator and was quickly promoted to Sales Office Manager. He held that position for five years before being made UK Sales Manager and then Sales and Marketing Manager. James was appointed as Filtermist’s Managing Director in 2012 and began his current role as CEO in May 2018. He also holds the position of Vice President at Filtermist’s parent company, Absolent Air Care Group.

Filtermist has undergone significant growth over the past 25 years and has witnessed huge changes, as James himself testifies, “People ask how I can have worked at the same company for 25 years and the answer is, I haven’t! The company today has changed enormously from the Filtermist I joined all those years ago.

“In 1998 the turnover was around £5m GBP and the company only manufactured and sold Filtermist units. By 2021 Filtermist hit sales of £32m GBP and had added two more brands, Dustcheck and Kerstar, to its production schedule as part of a strategic drive to move into the dust and fume extraction market. Filtermist has also opened subsidiaries in China, Germany and India in recent years.

Absolent Air Care Group CEO, Axel Berntsson, presented James with gifts from the company which included a book of photos gathered during James’ time at Filtermist and tickets to see Manchester United play Wolves later this year.
