Filtermist’s Sales Manager, Stuart Plimmer and Operations Director, Randall Taft, have recently returned from a short trip across the Atlantic which included visits to Royal Products and AMT Machine Tools, Filtermist’s distributors in North America and Canada, followed by attendance at MMTS, the Montreal Manufacturing Technology Show.

Allan Curran, Tom Sheridan, Chris Jakubowsky, and other members of the Royal team, welcomed Stuart and Randall to their New York head office to discuss growing oil mist collector sales in the region, as well as plans for meeting up again at IMTS (the International Manufacturing Technology Show) taking place in September.

IMTS is the largest manufacturing show in the World and takes place every other year in Chicago. Stuart comments, “Plans are already well underway for IMTS and we’re looking forward to seeing Royal’s booth demonstrating our oil mist collectors at the show when we visit the USA again later this year.”

Filtermist then travelled on to meet its Canadian distributor, AMT Machine Tools, and attend MMTS - the largest manufacturing show in Canada which alternates with CMTS, held biennially in Toronto.

AMT had two stands at the city centre show, one to showcase the Machine Tools it distributes, and one stand dedicated to Filtermist oil mist collectors which was hosted by AMT’s Sales representative, Loris Zuccato.

The Filtermist stand was located near to some of the Machine Tool exhibitors and enjoyed a steady flow of visitors throughout the three day show, as Stuart reports, “Filtermist attends a significant number of trade shows around the World throughout the year. The city centre location of MMTS helped to boost visitor numbers and we were pleased with the level of enquiries we received.”
