Filtermist International has added another distributor to its global network with the appointment of Jakarta based PT. Javatec Trimitra Machinery.
This latest signing is further evidence of Filtermist’s commitment to expansion in the ASEAN region, as Filtermist Asia’s Business Development Manager, Desmond Teo, explains, “One of Filtermist Asia’s core tasks is to develop a network of carefully selected distributors throughout the ASEAN region.
“We are delighted to welcome PT Javatec to the ‘Filtermist family’ – already an authorised machine tool distributor in Indonesia, PT Javatec has a loyal customer base that will benefit from using Filtermist oil mist collectors in their manufacturing operations.”
Accompanied by Filtermist International’s Managing Director, James Stansfield, Desmond met with PT Javatec’s Managing Director, Jonatan A Santoso, to sign the official distributor contract in March during James’ most recent trip to the ASEAN region.
PT Javatec has purchased a large stock-holding of Filtermist units which it will be introducing to customers during an Open House taking place at the company’s recently opened new purpose built facilities located near Cikarang, Bekasi (East of Jakarta) on the 18th - 19th September.
Jonatan says, “Our Open House has been designed to showcase our new building, facilities and services, as well as all of our new products including Filtermist oil mist collectors. Filtermist products are an excellent addition to our range and we are confident that our customers will appreciate the benefits they bring to industrial workplaces, by ensuring the air is clean and safe to breathe.”
Javatec is Filtermist’s first official distributor based in Indonesia – previous sales have all been handled through Filtermist Asia’s predecessor in Singapore.
James Stansfield comments, “Filtermist now has more than 40 distributors selling in to over 60 countries throughout the World. We plough significant resource into keeping our distributor network engaged and up to date with our latest Company and product developments to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.”
