Filtermist to exhibit at AMB in German sales drive

UK based manufacturer, Filtermist International, will be showcasing its oil mist collectors on Stand B92, Hall 4 at AMB in Stuttgart as part of targeted efforts to increase its share of Germany’s air filtration market.

Filtermist will be exhibiting alongside distributor and sister company BRISTOL T&G International GmbH (BTG) - products on show will include Filtermist’s compact FX & S Series oil mist filters as well as the latest addition to the Filtermist range, S Fusion.

S Fusion successfully removes submicron particles generated in neat oil applications by combining a hi-tech synthetic self-draining media filter with Filtermist’s proven centrifugal technology - offering an effective alternative to other products in the high-pressure coolant market.

Filtermist units remove harmful oil mist and fume particles generated in a range of manufacturing applications including machining, milling, grinding, spark erosion and parts washing. Units can be machine mounted or located alongside machine tools on floor stands or wall brackets – saving valuable floor space.

As home to a large number of machine tool manufacturers and a manufacturing economy which accounts for 23% of national GDP, Germany offers the largest potential market in Europe for Filtermist.

Director of Sales, Stuart Plimmer, comments, “The size of the German machine tool market meant it was one of the first countries we traded with when Filtermist initially started exporting more than 35 years ago. Sales of Filtermist units in Germany have increased by 13% since 2012, but there is still enormous potential to increase our presence.

“We have two distributors in Germany and a dedicated website filtermist.de which is designed to provide customers with a wealth of product information in their native language. We have exhibited at AMB for a number of years and it has always proved a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of our products amongst German manufacturers.”

Filtermist’s other German distributor, Sartorius based near Dusseldorf, will be exhibiting on Stand 1-212 in Hall E at AMB 2016.

Having represented Filtermist in Germany for more than 20 years, both BTG and Sartorius count some of the country’s leading automotive and electronics manufacturers amongst their Filtermist clients.

Stuart continues, “We recently welcomed personnel from BTG and Sartorius to a three-day distributor training and sales conference which included discussions about a range of global markets.

“Filtermist has extremely ambitious growth targets for the next five years and increasing our share of key global markets is vital if we are to achieve our aim. Germany presents a very exciting opportunity and we are looking forward to a busy show.”

Visitors to Filtermist’s AMB stand will be able to view German versions of the main company film, as well as a dedicated CGI introduction to S Fusion.
