UK based oil mist collector manufacturer, Filtermist International, will be exhibiting at JIMTOF at Tokyo Big Sight in November as part of its ongoing programme to grow its share of the Japanese oil mist removal market.
Established in the UK in 1969, Filtermist’s robust oil mist collectors have a worldwide reputation for effectively removing hazardous oil mist particles generated in a wide range of manufacturing applications including grinding, milling and EDM spark erosion.
Filtermist’s JIMTOF stand (E7052) will showcase products including the brand new S Fusion, designed specifically to remove high volumes of submicron particles generated in neat oil applications.
The company’s Japanese distributor, Dynamic Tools Corporation (Dynex), has successfully taken part in the last 16 JIMTOF shows. Filtermist decided to support Dynex’s efforts with a dedicated Filtermist stand this year to ensure show visitors have an opportunity to find out in detail why the company’s proven centrifugal technology is trusted by many of the world’s leading manufacturers.

The volume of machine tool manufacturers in Japan meant it was one of the first countries Filtermist began trading with when it started to export overseas. Filtermist oil mist collectors are now sold into more than 60 countries worldwide through a network of local distributors – meaning customers can access technical support wherever it may be required.
James continues, “A dedicated Filtermist stand will offer Japanese customers a chance to meet with both our UK and distributor’s team in person to discuss how our oil mist collectors could benefit their businesses and to find out more about our global infrastructure.
“Members of Dynex’s team will be on the Filtermist stand throughout the show to ensure there will always be a native Japanese speaker available.”
JIMTOF is one of the largest machine tool shows in the world. 865 exhibitors from 25 countries took part in the 2014 show which welcomed more than 136,000 visitors. Japan’s Machine Tool Manufacturers contribute a huge amount to the country’s economy; the latest figures from Japan Machine Tool Builders’ Association (JMTBA) state orders worth almost £749million (98.06 billion yen) in August 2016.
