Filtermist’s distributor in China, En-Creative Technologies, will be exhibiting Filtermist oil mist collectors on its stand at CCMT in Shanghai from 9th-13th April.

En-Creative has taken part in CCMT, which is widely recognized as one of the leading machine tool shows in China, many times before and the show is always very worthwhile.

Filtermist’s Managing Director James Stansfield visited CCMT in 2014 and 2016, he comments, “CCMT is a huge show which welcomes vast numbers of people every year. Organisers reported more than 145,000 visitor entries at the 2016 show which doesn’t surprise me at all. The fact that it is a dedicated machine tool fair means practically all visitors are potential Filtermist customers.

“China is our largest single export market after the USA and it continues to offer huge potential for us. We have recently established a dedicated trading company, Filtermist (Shanghai) Ltd and appointed a Director of Sales for China, to support En-Creative with growing our presence in this huge market.”

Filtermist has manufactured its centrifugal oil mist collectors in Shropshire in the UK since 1969. Its products have a well-deserved reputation for quality and are chosen by many of the world’s leading manufacturers to effectively remove oil and coolant mist, fume and steam from workplace air.

Sales in China have steadily grown year on year, with a 24% increase achieved between 2016 and 2017.

“The country’s ongoing growth in its manufacturing output, coupled with an increasing focus on air quality, means there is enormous untapped potential for Filtermist,” continues James. “Chinese manufacturers like the fact that we are a British brand – the ‘Made in the UK’ marque is associated with quality and the fact that our products have been proven to last for up to 30 years makes them an attractive proposition for customers.”
