UK based oil mist collectors manufacturer Filtermist International has expanded its distributor network and will now be joined by another part of the Kamogawa group servicing the Philippines.

Filtermist has already been partnered with the Kamogawa group since 2017 when Kamogawa Vietnam was appointed as a distributor.

Kamogawa Laguna Phils. will become Filtermist’s second distributor in the Philippines region.  Established in 2007 it is a 100% subsidiary of Kamogawa Japan and they distribute and trade high quality metal manufacturing consumables, machine tools and industrial equipment.

Filtermist oil mist collectors effectively remove oil and coolant mist, fume and steam generated in a wide range of manufacturing applications including grinding, turning, milling, parts washing and EDM / spark erosion. If left in the atmosphere, oil mist can cause a number of health issues and can also pose a fire and slip hazard.

All manufacturers that use machine tools for metalworking should ensure they are protecting people from exposure to oil mist by installing and maintaining an effective extraction system.
