Filtermist Shanghai recently took part in CIMT in Beijing alongside sister company, Absolent Beijing, and the team reported a very successful show. The Absolent Air Care Group (AACG) stand was located on the UK pavilion organised by the MTA – a trade association which Filtermist has been a member of for a number of years.

The team used the stand to introduce a new range of Filtermist oil mist collectors which has been specifically designed for China and the wider APAC region, as well as showcasing Filtermist’s main product ranges, the FX and S Series. A new horizontal mounting option was also on display to highlight the fact that Filtermist’s compact, light-weight units can be mounted in many ways. This is particularly important for production premises where floor space is at a premium.

Hansen Xu, AACG’s Country Manager for China, commented, “The show was very busy. We received lots of interest in the new products and enquiries from both potential distributors and customers. We also took the opportunity to meet with many of our current distributors to discuss the latest developments from Filtermist.

“Presenting the Group in such a professional way at a show like CIMT is very important. Most of the enquiries we received were from Chinese customers and we think this has a lot to do with the pandemic. People are more aware than ever of the potential hazards of breathing contaminated air and this includes air that contains oil mist, smoke and dust particles. This awareness combined with the desire to use quality products to manufacture quality products in China means many customers were interested in our booth.”
