Dynamic Tools Corporation, Filtermist’s long-standing partner in Japan, will be exhibiting Filtermist oil mist collectors at the 31st Japan International Machine Tool Fair (JIMTOF 2022) from 8th-13th November.
The Dynamic stand (E5044 in East Hall 5) will include a cut-away compact S800 oil mist collector, a display unit showing how Filtermist’s centrifugal technology works and an F Monitor 2 monitoring device. F Monitor 2 is designed to notify machine tool operators when the Filtermist unit needs servicing or if there is an issue which is causing the airflow to decrease. A traffic light warning system makes it very simple to see if the extraction system needs attention.
“JIMTOF has historically been a very successful show for Dynamic Tools,” comments Tomoki, Kato, Dynamic Tools’ COO. “Many visitors come to the stand to view the company’s wide range of chucks and spindles, and this provides an opportunity for the Dynex team to talk about the other products the company offers, including oil mist collectors.

Article 22 in Chapter 5 of Japan’s Industrial Safety and Health Act (Act No. 57 of June 8, 1972), Measures for Preventing the Dangers or Health Impairment of Workers, states that employers should ‘take necessary measures to prevent health impairment due to raw materials, gases, vapors, dusts, insufficient oxygen in air, pathogens, etc. ‘
Article 23 states that ‘employers shall, respecting the buildings and other workshops where he employs workers, take necessary measures for the maintenance of passages, floor and stair areas, and also for ventilation, lighting, illumination, heating, and moisture prevention. In addition, the employer shall take necessary measures for rest, evacuation and sanitation, and also measures required for maintaining the health, morale and life of workers.’
