UK based oil mist collectors manufacturer Filtermist is delighted to announce that it has appointed a third distributor in Indonesia. 

Established in 1988, PT. Citra Niaga Cemerlang, part of the Naga Tarra group, is based in the Tangerang district to the west of Jakarta. Its core business is supplying CNC machine tools and automated robotics; the company is the sole Indonesian distributor for Mazak and has distribution agreements with GF Machining Solutions, Agie Charmilles and Universal Robots. 

PT. Citra also produces its own line of machine tools for customers looking for entry level machines. The Microtarra range includes CNC lathes, machining centres, CNC tapping centres and press machines.

Offering Filtermist oil mist collectors with Mazak, Microtarra and GF machine tools was therefore a natural extension to PT. Citra’s business, as Filtermist Asia’s Business Development Manager Desmond Teo explains, “PT. Citra is well-known by Indonesia’s manufacturers. It offers a wide range of machine tools and has an extensive service department which employees around 20 people.

“This new contract offers significant opportunities for Filtermist. Indonesia’s manufacturing industry accounts for approximately 20% of the country’s GDP and there is widespread confidence that this sector will continue to grow.”
