UK manufactured Filtermist oil mist collectors will be on show at Mach Auto Expo in Ludhiana, India later this week – the first time in over twelve months that our products and team will have taken part in a machine tool show. 

Ashutosh Arora from the Absolent Filtermist India Private Ltd team comments, “We were due to be exhibiting at IMTEX in Bangalore last month, but this has been postponed until June because of the pandemic. Life in India is slowly returning to normal now the vaccination programme is underway so the show later this week will be the first time we will have been able to meet with customers at an exhibition for many, many months - obviously we will be taking all necessary safety precautions.

“Covid has put even more of a spotlight on air quality – more people now are aware of the air they are breathing in, but it’s not just the virus that people need to protect themselves from. Exposure to airborne oil mist particles can cause a number of respiratory diseases including asthma, and anyone with weakened lung function is more susceptible to the severe effects that Covid can have.

“Using an effective oil mist filter has a positive impact on the general air quality in manufacturing and engineering workshops which is good for both employees and the environment.”
