Filtermist is delighted to announce that it has appointed a second salesperson in Germany. Markus Pasemann joins Alexander Kirsch as a dedicated Filtermist sales manager based at our German distributor and fellow Absolent Group company, Bristol T&G GmbH.
Filtermist has exported its UK manufactured oil mist collectors to Germany for more than 30 years; sales to German customers increased by more than 75% between 2011 and 2016, and there is still significant potential business in terms of both product sales and aftersales support.
Matthew Pearson, Filtermist’s Business Development Manager for Germany, comments, “Germany is Filtermist’s second largest market in Europe after the UK. The sheer volume of machine tool and automotive manufacturers offers enormous opportunities for Filtermist and we are investing in a number of resources to ensure we increase our presence in this important market.”
Markus, who has more than 15 years’ sales experience, will be responsible for sales in the German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). “We are delighted to welcome Markus to the Filtermist team,” continues Matthew. “We are confident that his background and local knowledge will prove extremely valuable in our efforts to increase awareness of both the importance of effective oil mist removal, and the capabilities of Filtermist oil mist collectors.”
Filtermist will be hosting its largest stand to date (F60, Hall 6) at the forthcoming EMO show, taking place in Hannover in September to help support its efforts in Germany. The 82m² stand will be used to showcase S Fusion, Filtermist’s dedicated neat oil mist collector, and Bristol’s service department which offers routine maintenance for all types of air filtration and extraction equipment.
The stand will also be highlighting why many of the world’s leading manufacturers trust Filtermist’s centrifugal oil mist collectors to effectively remove oil mist from the air in their workshops.
